Together with your expert guide, your team will enjoy a 50 minute action packed ride down 14 epic rapids in a tight and twisting warm water jungle canyon.
This is a white water enthusiasts dream and is a must do for adrenaline junkies and 1st timers rafters alike!
No prior experience is necessary as you will be given full and comprehensive training but basic swimming skills is recommended
All you need is a reasonable level of fitness, a sense of fun and adventure, swimwear and a towel.

The ultimate white-water adventure
Kaituna Cascades gave us an absolutely unforgettable adventure on the river. From start to finish, the entire experience was thrilling. The professionalism and energy of our guides Dan, Josh, and Blue, made all the difference. They were fun, knowledgeable, and engaging, ensuring that everyone in the raft felt confident while also having the time of their lives. The grade 5 rapids delivered a massive adrenaline rush, and the highlight of the trip—tackling the famous waterfall, was an experience I’ll never forget. It was equal parts heart-pounding and exhilarating, and the way the guides prepared and supported us made it even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for the ultimate rafting adventure, this is the company to go with. Kaituna Cascades strikes the perfect balance between safety, professionalism, and pure fun. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

AMAZING 🤩
Just done the Kaituna river rafting with Kaituna Cascades, can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life! The staff are amazing and very professional, I went with my teenage kids who were both nervous, but Bal & the rest of the team made us all feel relaxed & explained things really well, I highly recommend Kaituna Cascades if you are considering a rafting trip!! Definitely the best rafting company in Rotorua, Thank you so much for the memories that will last a lifetime!! Absolutely epic!!! 🤙🏼
