Amazing during the night
The redwoods tree walk is a beautiful way to spend your day! We were one of the first people to walk it in the morning (we made it before all the tour buses full of people) and it was so peaceful to spend our morning walking amongst the trees. We then made our way there about half an hour before sunset (yes, we know it says not to do that, but my dad had a flight to catch the next morning). The wait wasn't long at all and we started our walk just as the sun was going down and we could see the full beauty of the lights in the trees. This is a must do if you are in Rotorua!
We did the day walk and also the nightlight walk. They were both amazing. Staff were awesome. Wait time for the nightfall was a little long. In all would reccomend this.
My family and I experienced both tree walks today and we would definitely recommend to others, if you have a fear of heights like I do, it would probably pay to go during the day when it is not so busy, you will enjoy it more because you won't be pressured to go across the bridges, you can go at your own pace. Both walks were beautiful π, just a note and they do tell you, expect a long wait if you are doing the night walk, it is very popular or book a fast pass if you don't want to wait, they also play a movie to help pass the time while waiting.

Worth every cent - magical experience
If you only do one thing in Rotorua, make sure it is a visit to the Redwoods. We visited for the second time, taking friends with us who had never been. We purchased the day/night combo and recommend that you do it in that order. The day time experience was spent reading every bit of information and marvelling at how it was built. The night experience is pure magic - like being transported to a magical fairyland. Canβt rate the experience high enough. Will definately visit again.
